Rizki Nizam Irhamsa

Rizki Nizam Irhamsa, professionally known as Elnizam, is an Indonesian illustrator and comic artist recognized for his distinctive visual style that combines detailed black-and-white hatching, expressive linework, and complex compositions. He has worked on a wide range of comic projects for publishing studios, including full-length comics, storyboards, and character design. His work focuses on balancing technical precision with powerful visual storytelling, making him one of Indonesia's notable contemporary comic illustrators. Beyond publishing projects, he has also contributed to editorial illustrations and interdisciplinary collaborations with writers and independent media.

Born on March 8, 1996, in the Solo Raya residency of Indonesia, Elnizam developed a passion for drawing from an early age. While studying Fine Arts with a focus on textiles and conceptual art, he continuously explored illustration through personal sketches that gradually evolved into professional visual storytelling. His artistic education established a strong conceptual foundation that continues to influence his illustrations today.

Elnizam began his professional career in 2014, initially working in textile design for manufacturing industries in China before expanding into jewelry and gemstone design through collaborations with studios in Bali and Russia. Following the global pandemic, he transitioned fully into comics and illustration, developing a professional portfolio that includes character design, storyboard development, and complete comic production. His notable projects include HACK (2025), Molie (2024), and Maand The Rabbit (2023), among many other creative collaborations.

Elnizam's work is distinguished by dramatic black-and-white illustration techniques, expressive linework, rich hatching, and cinematic composition. Influenced by both American comics and Japanese manga, his illustrations emphasize atmosphere, storytelling, and emotional impact while maintaining exceptional technical detail. Each composition is carefully designed to guide the viewer through an immersive visual narrative.
